These disks contain materials, some of it copyrighted, that can be found
elsewhere on the net and freely downloaded by anybody so wishing. Many of these authors also offer
to make you a disk if you send them a blank disk and mailer, an inefficient process at best. What
I am doing here is making this material available on CD/DVD to those persons for whom this is not
practical for whatever combination of reasons.
The files and software on these disks are free. The charge per disk is a production, postage
and handling charge. It covers the cost of getting the disk to you; disks, labels, mailers,
postage, PayPal fees, and a very modest fee for my time to compile, copy, label, package and mail
the disk to you.

Requires an Intel 486 or better (AMD Athlon OK) and 16 MB of RAM for text mode, at least 96 MB for graphics mode with KDE (at least 128 MB of RAM

US Tiger Map Data 2002 ($6.00) - single sided DVD has the entire US Census Tiger Map Data 2002. The disk contains 3.5 GB of ZIP files
for use by APRS/XASTIR programs.
NTPASSWD MiniDisk ($4.00) - A small IsoLinux boot
distribution on a 200 MB minindisk that will fit in your shirt pocket. NTPASSWD will safely access any Windows NT
based password file and permits replacing the administrator or any other account password with a new password. It
will not recover old passwords. It is NOT a tool for surrepticious entry (it is on the order of cut off the
padlock and put your own on!). This disk is very useful in a corporate environment where computers get shared and
a password gets changed making the machine inaccessible. System is very safe, it makes all it's accesses and does
all its workup in RAMDisk and only at the last moment writes to disk after several "are you really sure?" requests.
Comments from Author The bootdisk should support most of the more usual
disk controllers, and it should auto-load most of them. Both PS/2 and USB keyboard supported.
It has been tested on: NT 3.51, NT 4 (all versions and SPs), Windows 2000 (all versions & SPs), Windows XP (all versions, also SP2 and
SP3), Windows Server 2003 (all SPs), Vindows Vista 32 and 64 bit, and some say it works on Server 2008 (32 & 64 bit)
DANGER WILL ROBINSON! If used on users that have EFS encrypted files, and the system is XP or Vista, all
encrypted files for that user will be UNREADABLE! and cannot be recovered unless you remember the old password again If you don't know if
you have encrypted files or not, you most likely don't have them. (except maybe on corporate systems)
